We recognize that the support received by a grieving child or youth can significantly influence their wellbeing. The resources below will connect you with services and/or information resources that benefit children or youth who are grieving the loss of a loved one.
St. Joseph’s Hospice is committed to providing valuable information for patients, families, and caregivers on a variety of topics related to living with a terminal illness, supporting a loved one, and bereavement. We also house a small library of books available for loan within our hospice home.
Available to children and families visiting our Hospice Residence, our Children’s Activity Centre is full of supplies, activities, and resources!

"All staff were so lovely and supportive. A few took quite a bit of time to sit and chat to help our family through this very difficult time. Also the facility was wonderful. I do not have enough words to show my gratitude for the care and environment (vs the hospital). I am so glad we were able to get my Dad here for his last days."
