Patients and Families
At St. Joseph’s Hospice, we provide state-of-the-art palliative care and supportive services to enhance the quality and dignity of life for those living with a palliative illness and their families.
Hospice is a promise of comfort where skilled professionals and volunteers work in partnership with a patient’s care team and community partners to provide physical, emotional and spiritual support along with compassionate care for the whole family in both their home and within our 10-suite residential care facility.
Thanks to the generosity of our donors and support from the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, all programs and services are offered at no cost for our community.
You matter because of who you are. You matter to the last moment of your life, and we will do all we can, not only to help you die peacefully, but to live until you die.
– Dame Cicely Saunders (modern hospice founder)
