Kitchen volunteers assist the Food and Nutrition Coordinator in the hospice kitchen with meal preparation and sanitation of kitchen.

Volunteer visitors offer comfort and companionship to clients with a palliative illness as well as respite for their caregivers and families in the community. Weekday availability and transportation is preferred.
Volunteers drive our palliative and bereaved clients to and from appointments at Hospice. They also drive our palliative clients to medical appointments in the community. Proof of insurance and driver’s abstract required. Volunteers need to have completed Fundamentals of Palliative Care Training.
Certified reflexologists provide therapies to clients in the community and in our Hospice Wellness Centre. Therapists must have completed a Reflexology Program at an approved educational facility.
Certified Estheticians needed to provide manicures and pedicures in our Hospice Wellness Centre.
Certified hairstylist needed to provide haircut and style in our Hospice Wellness Centre.
Volunteer Massage Therapist (RMT)
Registered massage therapist needed to provide service in our community.
Direct Support Volunteers
Direct Support volunteers assist the clinical staff with the care of the residents.
Volunteers meet weekly from June through to October helping with planting, watering and weeding. If you have a passion for gardening, like being outdoors, enjoy meeting other volunteers this may be just the volunteer role for you.
