We welcome family and visitors 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For visiting after 7:30 p.m. or before 6:30 a.m., please locate the doorbell at the entrance of the building and a nurse will be happy to escort you in. Visitors are asked to check in at the reception desk upon arrival and departure so that we know who is in the building in case of emergencies.
Whether that’s cooking family meals in the bistro, relaxing on the patio, or spending quality time in one of our spacious living rooms – we encourage you to make St. Joseph’s Hospice you home.
Pets are welcome to visit. We ask that they have up-to-date vaccines, be well groomed, and be of gentle temperament. Pets are to be supervised and, on a leash, or in a travelling case. You’ll find dog treats and a water bowl in the Great Room for your pets’ comfort, but we ask that the pet owners provide adequate food, water and outside bathroom trips when visiting.
Don’t have a pet but want to benefit from the friendship a dog can provide?
St. Joseph’s Hospice partners with the St. John Ambulance Therapy Dogs to bring joy and comfort to residents in our hospice home and their families.
