Hike for Hospice
Thank you to our participants, sponsors, donors, and volunteers for supporting the 11th Annual Hike for Hospice presented by CIBC Wood Gundy. This family-friendly event took place on Saturday, September 28, 2019, in the picturesque Kilally Meadows and raised a record-breaking $107,000 (and counting) towards local palliative and bereavement care.
It may have been a rainy day, but that didn’t stop the more than 450 Hikers who came together to celebrate the life of their loved one. Everyone in attendance enjoyed beautiful music, food, a memorial tree, and a hike along the 1 KM, 2.5 KM and 5 KM trails.
It’s not too late to make a difference, donations will be accepted until the end of October 2019. Click the link below to search for a participant or team and donate towards their fundraising goal OR make a general donation to the event.
“Our family came into St. Joseph’s Hospice and we were blown away by the compassionate care and how well our whole family was treated. From our young children to our extended family to Bob’s high school football team, everyone was welcome to spend quality time during Bob’s final days.”
